Council bulky collection or a private collection?
At the time of writing, Watford Borough Council's bulky waste service listed £57 for up to three items, excluding electricals and sofas or other upholstered items, with items collected from outside the property. Prices and rules change, so check watford.gov.uk for the current details.
A private collection makes more sense when you have more than a few items, items the council excludes, items that need carrying out from upstairs, or a deadline the council's booking slots can't meet.
